At One Cooperative we feel the children are our future and together we grow that is why we have invested substantial time and effort in installing organic gardens in schools as a part of a donation program to help the schools grow high quality organic Vegetables and Herbs.
There is a philosophy that relates to the installation protocols that we use when installing gardens in schools and homes with the emphasis being on low maintenance maximum yield so that the students and parents can spend more time in observation and enjoyment of the garden.
Teachers and principles tell us that when children spend time in the garden they often are more relaxed when the return to class as they have had the opportunity to interact with nature.
